THM: Round the Prickly Pear

In this valley of dying stars

As you can tell THM stand for the "The Hollow Men."

Here, I'm just going back to my painting roots using acrylics. The painting was inspired by THM poem by T.S. Eliot which I really liked.

My interpretation of the hollow men were straw dolls things living in Hell, which is like this purple gray desert with dark clouds and the kingdom of heaven floating far away. The area is just covered tear-rocks, which are suppose to be as blue as tears and there are certain symbols in the painting that people can search for themselves. This painting took like 3 days to paint, I'm glad I was able to finish it. I might do a series of paintings on this subject.
